2 Skinnee J's - The Vault - Baltimore, MD - January 2, 1999
I did have the pleasure of seeing these guys live before they disbanded, a rare feat considering that I live in Idaho and they have only played here once (and that there were only about twenty or thiry people at the show that also included Incubus before they hit it big). They put on a great show, possibly one of the best live shows that I have seen and the music is fun on it's own.

Queens of the Stone Age - Southside Festival - Germany - June 11, 2005 - Soundboard
There isn't much to choose from in the Q list but I opted for this over Quasi (and I have no Queen bootlegs). That's not to say that this one is not good because it is (as is Quasi). I really like Josh Homme's latest project, Them Crooked Vultures (with Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones).

Killing Joke - BBC Sessions
I guess there is an official release of most of these songs and it sounds a little better (this is another vinyl rip with a bit of noise) but this one seems to be more complete and includes some other BBC sessions other than the John Peel sessions on the official release.

Joy Division - The Wharehouse - Preston, UK - February 28, 1980 - Soundboard
New Order sprang from the ashes of this band after Curtis (the lead singer) hung himself. I have to admit it took me many years to get into this band and, with the help of Nine Inch Nails, I finally latched on and I now think that they were quite good. This one came from a vinyl rip and has a little bit of surface noise but it's still a great show.

Setlist:

I have never been a big metal fan but this band used to play in our area lot (I have seen them play five times) and they put on a great show and seemed to love playing in our podunk little town. The band has undergone something of a transformation since those days but this is a solid set with great sound.

Echo and the Bunnymen - Karen - Gothenburg, Sweden - November 6, 1987 - Radio Broadcast

The Cure - Hurrah's Club - New York City - April 15, 1980 - Soundboard
Setlist:
I don't have an accurate setlist to cut and paste. The vinyl that this was ripped from is a hack and paste job but it sounds great and is a great trip to the Cure's past. They were quite a markedly different band back then but that is not all that bad as they have managed to evolve over the past thirty years without growing stale.
The show is, unfortunately, incomplete.

Blind Melon - The Palace - Hollywood, CA - October 11, 1995 - Westwood One FM Broadcast
In my humble opinion this band was largely underrated. Their live sets are very tight and there is lots of sonic goings on to please my ears.
